Norman Carriers is a third generation family owned and operated Australian Company established by Norman Hearnden in 1949, specializing in wharf cartage from the Melbourne waterfront and local delivery of general freight to metropolitan Melbourne.
The natural progression was expansion into containerization and in 1976 Norman Carriers was incorporated under the leadership of the founder’s son Grahame Hearnden. Grahame would lead the business through a period of 40 years of success prior to handing the business over to his son Gareth in 2016. Under Gareth’s stewardship Norman Carriers have undergone substantial growth particularly in the warehousing sector while upholding the prior strengths of our transport division.
